Hamas Accepts Ceasefire Terms

Hamas has accepted a ceasefire proposal mediated by Egypt and Qatar, reportedly almost identical to an earlier framework put forward by Donald Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, and tentatively agreed by Israel. The plan envisages a 60-day truce, with hostages released in phases in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, followed by negotiations on a permanent ceasefire.
